Care for jewelry

Part of silver jewelry will turn black after wearing for a long time. This is because silver reacts with sulfur in the air to produce black silver sulfide, which affects the appearance. If it has oxidized and turned black, you can soak it in silver washing water or wipe it with a silver cloth. You can also scrub with a soft brush dipped in toothpaste and dry with cotton cloth after washing. 
If sterling silver ornaments are not worn for a long time, be sure to clean them with a soft cloth, so as not to cause corrosion caused by sweat stains on the ornaments, and then put them into a sealed bag or packaging box, so as to isolate the air and avoid oxidation of silver ornaments yellow and black. 
It is recommended not to wear pure silver jewelry while soaking in hot springs or playing in the sea. It is also recommended not to come into contact with chemical solution, otherwise chemical reaction will make your pure silver jewelry black. 
You can use a silver polishing cloth to clean smooth, carved or irregular surfaces of silver ornaments. 
No matter what kind of material jewelry, it is best to take off and store it in a dry place when taking a shower or sleeping. Sterling silver is a very discoloured metal, of course it should be so.
